On the occasion of the 3rd National Pharmacovigilance Week, Day 4 of the Expert Lecture Series commenced with a keynote address by Principal Dr. Amit Joshi. He delved into the pharmaceutical industry, which encompasses fitness and chemical sciences, with a primary focus on the safe and efficient use of pharmaceutical drugs. Dr. Joshi elaborated on various crucial aspects of the pharmaceutical industry, including pharmaceutical production management, brand management, pharmaceutical marketing, and the financial and economic dimensions of the field.

Our first expert, Ms. Shradha Gupta, Senior Area Sales Manager (Sr. ASM) at Novo Nordisk, Indore, shared her valuable insights and experiences in pharmaceutical marketing. Her lecture shed light on the diverse opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector.

Following this enlightening session, Mr. Anish Thomas, Senior Executive at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, Dewas, took the stage. He delved into the topic of “Artificial Intelligence Based on Machine Learning in Pharmacovigilance.” Mr. Thomas discussed how machine learning and artificial intelligence are harnessed to enhance pharmacovigilance processes, their distinctions from other fields, and the potential they hold to enhance drug safety monitoring.”
