As a recently founded law school, we set out on a mission to reinvent legal education, giving aspiring attorneys the tools they need to influence the course of justice and promote a better world.

The School of Legal Studies at LNCT Vidhyapeeth University, which is based in Indore, the financial capital city of Madhya Pradesh, is a symbol of our dedication to excellence, innovation, and the quest of legal knowledge. Our university seeks to establish new standards by developing a dynamic learning environment that supports intellectual development, promotes critical thinking, and instills a thorough understanding of the law.School of Legal Studies runs under Shree Astha Foundation for Education Society and approved by Bar Council of India to commence the law college from Academic year 2023-2024.

Ph.D.

These courses are all independent of one another and follow the guidelines and norms established by the Bar Council of India, UGC and MP Higher education.

Eligibility Criteria

The Legal Education Committee at its meeting held on 30th April, 2017 considered the matter relating Rule-5 of the Legal Education Rules 2008 and clarified the definition of basic qualification and eligibility of candidates to get admitted into 3 year and 5 year Law Courses.

  1. BALLB/BBALLB: 10+2 in any stream with 45% for Gen, 42% for OBC, and 40% for SC/ST.
  2. LLB: Graduation (10+2+3 pattern) with 45% for Gen, 42% for OBC(Non-creamy layer), and 40% for SC/ST.
  3. LLM 2YDC: LLB degree with 55% marks for Gen. and OBC(Non-creamy layer) and 50% for SC/ST.

Note – The Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination can appear for the test on the condition that they produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the prescribed marks before or at the time of counseling.

Ph.D

The candidates should have passed the Postgraduate Degree in Law or equivalent grade from recognized University by UGC with at least 55% marks in aggregate for general & OBC category (Non-creamy layer) and 50% for SC & ST category. The Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying examination can appear for the test on the condition that they produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the prescribed marks before or at the time of counseling.

Reserved Categories:

  • Reserved categories (such as SC/ST/OBC) often have relaxation in terms of minimum percentage requirements and age limits as per government regulations.
