The Department of Ophthalmology, LNCT Medical College, successfully celebrated Eye Donation Fortnight from 25th August to 8th September 2025 with a series of impactful initiatives aimed at raising awareness about the importance of eye donation.
As part of the campaign, the department organized:

Awareness talks in the Ophthalmology OPD to educate patients and visitors.

A poster-making competition, with creative entries exhibited in the Ophthalmology Ward, 4th Floor of the New Hospital Building.

A thought-provoking skit performance to spread the message of eye donation in a relatable manner.
The felicitation ceremony for the competition winners was held on Teacher’s Day, adding a meaningful touch to the occasion.
The entire fortnight was organized under the able guidance of Dr. Seemee Kapadia, Dr. Rituka Gupta, Dr. Rahul Singh, and Dr. Pooja Narwariya.
The Department of Ophthalmology takes pride in carrying forward the noble mission of eye donation and inspiring society to contribute towards restoring sight and bringing light to many lives.
