A health camp was conducted at Buranakhedi, covering two Anganwadis and a school. The health camp included general health check-ups for teachers and students, with medicines distributed as needed. Additionally, health education sessions on the importance of nutrition and vitamins were provided to the children as part of World Nutrition Week.
During the event, discussions were held with the principal and other staff of the Buranakhedi school to plan various upcoming activities for the coming month. The entire event was successfully organized and conducted by the faculties of the Community Medicine department, along with the interns posted in the department.
Faculty members present included Dr. Sonia Tiwari (Prof & HOD), Dr. Chetan Sharma, Dr. Neetu Mourya, Dr. Rohit Patel, and Dr. Aayush Nema. The interns who actively participated were Shubham Satpuda, Priyanka Nagpure, Udit Katara, Akshay Rathore, Abha Silawat, and Shravantee Haldar. Additionally, MSW – Upma Mourya and the nursing staff contributed significantly to the occasion.
