Today, we are delighted to share that we have initiated the Family Adoption Program with the MBBS 2021 batch. In this endeavor, the first group of 40 students visited four villages – Khatrikhedi, Bisankhedi, Sahukhedi, and Hingonia. Each student engaged with five families, collecting their biodata and medical history. We also provided them with Family Adoption Program cards, enabling these families to access health checkups, tests, and medicines at minimal cost.

The success of this event is the result of collective efforts spanning the past month, beginning with data collection by Mrs. Monika and her PRO team. The Department of Community Medicine played a pivotal role in organizing and executing the program, with contributions from Dr. Sonia Tiwari (Prof & HOD), Dr. Chetan Sharma, Dr. Arunendra, Dr. Neetu Mourya, Dr. Rohit Patel, Dr. Aayush Nema, Mr. Kamlendra, Dr. Manish Mehar, Dr. Neelima Sharma, MSW – Miss Upama Mourya, and our dedicated interns: Dr. Prakhar, Dr. Shubham, Dr. Akshaya, Dr. Udit, Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Abha, and Dr. Shravanti. Special thanks to our nursing staff and the entire PRO team for their remarkable contributions.
