SAFE Institution of Nursing College, a part of LNCT Vidyapeeth University, Indore, recently organized an educational visit for its B.Sc. Nursing students to the Waste Disposal and Treatment Plant in Devguradiya. The visit was designed to provide students with practical exposure in line with their syllabus requirements and to enhance their understanding of waste treatment, reuse, and household waste segregation.

The educational visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, offering students a firsthand experience of waste management processes. By visiting the Waste Disposal and Treatment Plant in Devguradiya, students had the opportunity to witness the methods employed for waste treatment and the critical aspects of waste segregation and reuse.

During the visit, students were guided through the plant’s operations, gaining insights into the various stages of waste disposal and treatment. They learned about the importance of separating household waste at the source and how it contributes to more efficient recycling and waste reduction.
