LNCT School of Pharmacy, LNCT Vidhyapeeth University, Indore, in collaboration with the Narcotic Wing, Madhya Pradesh Police, organized an essential program for undergraduate students on the theme ‘Drug Turns an Abuse from Savior – Awareness is the Key.’ Dr. Amit Joshi, Principal of LNCT School of Pharmacy, commenced the event with a warm welcome.
The event was graced by Mrs. Hemlata Agrawal, Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP), Narcotic Wing, Indore, as the Chief Guest. She acknowledged the organizers’ commendable efforts in conducting this program and emphasized the importance of drug prevention initiatives among young individuals and adults. Mrs. Agrawal highlighted that drug addiction is a chronic brain disease that necessitates comprehensive strategies for prevention and recovery.
Mr. Santosh Hada, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Narcotic Wing, Indore, shared his personal experiences and underscored the significance of ending discrimination and stigmatization against substance abusers. He stressed the role of strong familial and societal support in the journey to sobriety.
Assistant Professor Ms. Ruchi Jain, representing LNCT School of Pharmacy, LNCT Vidhyapeeth University, Indore, delivered the vote of thanks and shared concluding remarks, underlining the importance of continued awareness and education in creating a drug-free society.
