LNCT Vidhyapeeth University, Indore, successfully organized a Workshop-cum-Training Session on NAD & ABC/APAAR ID with the support of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The session aimed to create awareness and provide practical insights into the implementation of the National Academic Depository (NAD) and Academic Bank of Credits (ABC/APAAR ID) systems.
The workshop was graced by eminent representatives from the Government of India, including **Rohit Singh, State Co-Ordinator & TET Initiative, Digital India Corporation, National eGovernance Division (NeGD), MeitY, and **Akshay Mangwane, State Co-Ordinator, Digital India Corporation, National eGovernance Division (NeGD), MeitY.
The speakers highlighted the importance of NAD and ABC/APAAR ID in modernizing the academic system through secure digital record-keeping, easy access, and smooth credit transfer. They also demonstrated the processes of student registration, institutional integration, and use of the DigiLocker platform.
The session saw enthusiastic participation from faculty, administrative staff, and officials from the examination and student sections, helping strengthen their understanding of digital academic systems and national education initiatives.
The workshop concluded successfully, equipping participants with key insights and reaffirming the University’s commitment to implementing digital reforms for greater transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in higher education.
