The interns at the Rural Health & Training Centre (RHTC) and Burana Khedi School organized a Nukkad Natak presentation on “No Smoking Day.” The aim was to raise awareness among the general public at RHTC and the students and staff of the school regarding the harmful effects of smoking.
The event was honored by the presence of our Dean, Dr. Sadhana Sanwatsarkar. Additionally, faculty members from the Department of Community Medicine, including Dr. Neelima, Dr. Chetan, Dr. Neetu, Dr. Manish, Mr. Kamlendra, and MSW Miss Upama, were present on the occasion to support the initiative.
The entire event was meticulously coordinated by Professor and Head of the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine (PSM), Dr. Sonia Tiwari. Such initiatives play a crucial role in spreading awareness about the dangers of smoking and promoting a healthier lifestyle.
