SAFE Institution of Nursing College, LNCT Vidhyapeeth University, successfully organized Day 1 (13 July 2026) of the National Virtual Faculty Development Programme on “Empowering Nursing Research with Artificial Intelligence: Ethics, Speed and Accuracy.”

The programme began with a grand inaugural session featuring Chief Guest Dr. Usha Ukandey, Director, Edu Serum X, Consultant, Moms Clinic, Chief Editor, IJNS, and Advisor, SOMI (MP). She inspired participants by emphasizing perseverance, innovation, and the vital role of education in creating a brighter future.

The event was graced by the virtual presence of Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Secretary, LNCT Vidhyapeeth University Indore & LNCT Group; Dr. Vimal Kumar, Vice Chancellor, LNCTVU; Dr. Prashant Purohit, Registrar, LNCTVU; along with principals, distinguished dignitaries, faculty members, and participants from across India.

An insightful technical session was delivered by Dr. Prof. Rupa Ashok Verma, Principal, MKSSS Sitabai Nargundkar College of Nursing, Nagpur, on “Overview of Nursing Research with AI: Ethics, Speed, and Accuracy.” The session highlighted AI’s transformative role in nursing research while emphasizing ethical practices, research integrity, and the responsible use of technology to improve the quality, speed, and accuracy of research outcomes.

The session was chaired by Dr. Prof. Jaya Bijoy, HOD, Mental Health Nursing, People’s College of Nursing & Research Centre, Bhopal (MP).

Dr. Pinki Shrivastava, Principal, SAFE Institution of Nursing College, delivered an inspiring keynote address on research, innovation, and the future of nursing education.

Day 1 concluded with meaningful discussions, collaborative learning, and renewed enthusiasm for integrating Artificial Intelligence into ethical, evidence-based nursing research.
