SAFE Institution of Nursing College, LNCT Vidhyapeeth University, successfully conducted Day 2 (14 July 2026) of its National Virtual Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Empowering Nursing Research with Artificial Intelligence: Ethics, Speed and Accuracy.” The technical session was delivered by Dr. Prof. Soumya Sonalika, Professor, Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: Powered Approaches to Literature Review and Research Planning.” The session highlighted how AI-powered tools can streamline literature reviews by identifying relevant studies, summarizing research findings, detecting knowledge gaps, organizing references, and supporting research planning, while emphasizing the importance of critical thinking, source verification, and academic integrity. The session was chaired by Prof. Archana Masih, Principal, Doon Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun. The insightful discussions inspired participants to explore innovative research methodologies and understand the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in advancing nursing research. Day 2 concluded with renewed enthusiasm for integrating ethical, efficient, and evidence-based AI practices into nursing education and research.
