The Department of Community Medicine recently organized a workshop focusing on the “Surveillance of Vaccine Preventable Diseases with Special Reference to Measles-Rubella Elimination in India.” Our distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Abhishek Bachhotiya, SMO of the Indore unit, provided valuable insights into the latest developments in vaccination in India. He also discussed various reporting formats for diseases such as Fever of Unknown Origin, DPT, Rashes, Polio, and more.
The workshop was graced by the presence of our esteemed Dean, Dr. Sadhana Sanwatsarkar. It also saw the participation of other department heads, including Dr. Virendra Mehar (HOD, Pediatrics), Dr. Poonam Gaur (HOD Physiology & Academic Cell Incharge), Dr. M.S. Pathak (CMO), and all the dedicated faculty members of the Community Medicine department. Dr. Sonia Tiwari (Prof & HOD), Dr. Chetan Sharma, Dr. Deependra, Dr. Neetu Mourya, Dr. Rohit Patel, Dr. Aayush Nema, and various faculty members from different departments enthusiastically joined the event, making it a success.
