B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is a four-year undergraduate program that largely focuses on agricultural science research and practice, including subjects such as Genetics and Plant Biotechnology, Agriculture Microbiology, Soil Science, Plant Pathology, and others. It is a professional degree in agricultural science recognised by the Government of India. This course is designed to prepare students to apply current agricultural practices and technology in the real world.

A B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture student will learn about agronomy, soil sciences, horticulture (fruit science and vegetable), crop production and genetics, entomology pathology of plants vegetation chemical agriculture economics and animal sciences extended education & the fundamentals of biotechnology, among other things. The course follows the requirements of the ICAR (Indian Council of Agriculture Research) and is intended to teach individuals in sustainable crop production methods as well as to give general information about agriculture and related subjects.

The B.Sc in Agriculture is a wide ranging program with a lot of promise.
